The Women’s Australian Futsal Team is preparing for the second Women’s Futsal World Cup to take place in Barrancabermeja, Colombia the event will be held in November, 2013, in a new 7,000-seat stadium being built by the city.

The World Cup will be attended by 16 teams to be released at a later date. This is 4 more teams then previously competed at the First Women’s AMF World Cup in Reus Spain. In the previous World Cup Australia narrowly lost their Quarter Final to eventual Champions Catalonia, Spain.

The team will have a camp from the 31st May 2013 in Brisbane. 

Coach Mike Bushe is happy with the progress of trainings and hopes the team will be ready for their 1st game in Colombia this November.
